I just booked our trip to see Ty play in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium Labor Day weekend!!! It's so new there is only computer animated photos...
BYU plays Oklahoma on Saturday night. Bingham plays Trinity High School (from Texas - ranked #1 high school football team in the nation for most of last year) on Monday morning. The Cowboys have not even played here yet! Both Utah teams are the underdogs.
The game will be televised nationally on either ESPN or VS channel. This could be great for Ty and his recruiting value (if we don't get killed). What an experience! How many guys can say they have played football on a pro field?
Side note - Ty was at a party Friday night. He met a kid who was visiting his cousin and came to the party. He is the QB for Trinity! He told Ty they are not as good as in years past... so I guess it's anybody's ball game!??

WOW. That sounds amazing. We are totally going to be cheering you on, Ty!
We would so love to be there! What fun for all of you. We will be cheering for him. Go, Ty!
Ty, I'm so proud of you! Now for some advise. In a year or two, or ten, or twenty, no one will remember who played, who won, or what the score was. But they will remember the incredible Bingham quarterback who exemplified Christlike sportsmanship throughout the game. It really is not whether you win or lose, it is really about how you play. Do your best and remember you represent the Church, the Priesthood and the Savior.
