Self baptism

Hey Mamma!

This week was pretty good! Except for the investigator that I have been telling you guys about, the painter, he has kind of dropped off the face of the planet. So that was a little hard. We basically gave him like the final do or die lesson, and then he didn't come to church again this week so we kind of have to drop him now. So now we are just looking like crazy as always. We just had a mission activity in our ward the other day where we basically copied the Jehovah's witnesses. We got as many members as we possibly could, and also called in a couple other Elders and Sisters from different areas and we had a big splash. We chose like a big area and we just all went out and contacted! We haven't had a chance to look through and divide up all of the references yet cause it has been a crazy couple days but I am excited to see how it turns out!

Also this Saturday we went to a baptism of two other Elders and Sisters and it was pretty funny. They baptized this guy named Miguel Angel. He is like a super old guy and like super hunch backed and stuff. I love him cause he is like the nicest old guy in the world but when we got into the baptismal font, the elder who baptized him goes, "you ready?" and then gets ready to say the prayer. Well Miguel took the "you ready" as "alright dunk yourself" and so he just ducks down headfirst into the water hahahah and the elder had to like explain to him that he had to say the prayer and all of that stuff. It was pretty funny but it was a super good baptism!

Well that is about it for this week. This week is going to be a week of work! I am sick of not having any baptisms so we are going to just work a ton and just go crazy. I will let you know how it goes!
