Don't check that box

Nate took an ACT prep test a few months ago. The test is designed to give students a sampling of what the ACT has in store for them. It helps them learn that they must budget time, review all material from past years, and use deductive reasoning to achieve the best score possible. Also included in the official pre-test is a questionnaire about future college goals and aspirations. There is a box you can check if you would like information from colleges. DO NOT CHECK THAT BOX.

















Nate found out that it is just a way to get on the college "junk mail" list. Every school imaginable sent him a letter telling how great their institution was. (Don't you love the great face he is making for me?!) At first we just threw the letters in the recycle bin, then I started saving them to see how many we would get. He is holding 20+ letters!! Yikes. College is a serious business!
